Sales Manager

Reporting to Strategic Commercial Director

Responsibilities

Develop strategies to target and capitalize on new sales growth opportunities within an agreed geographical area, identifying potential customers, initiating engagement, and following through to secure the opportunity.
Determine potential sales growth opportunities with current customers, ensuring they are aware of the full company capabilities – and the company is also aware of the customer strategies and growth direction/plans.
Establish and maintain private label and contract manufacturing sales and profitability budgets for both existing and new customers.
Maintain proficient knowledge of factory capabilities, product developments, lead times, shipping terms etc.
Qualify all potential customer opportunities based on volumes, requirements, feasibility, and profitability.
Work with the commercial support, NPD, production, and accounts teams to effectively deliver the customer needs and requirements within the company’s guidelines.

Qualifications

Work Experience

At least 5 years of experience in private labeling

Experience in snack industry and bakery industry will be an asset

Education

MBA or Business Administration or Finance
